Pretty soon we won't want many picks in the draft, so mortgaging our future picks now is fine imo.

Just the ones I know. I would like Sharp, Rivers, Jamison or Taylor but I don't know if we can get up that high

I think I'd leave our future picks alone now. The quality u18 players will all be gone by any pick we can get our hands on now (I'd look at Taheny if the foxsports phantom was close though - they have us picking Shute - meh). We might only get into the 40s at best. Better off finding a mature ager with our late pick (that will likely move up a bit) imo. We were looking at Chad Pearson but am curious if that changes after getting Young?

I'd still consider giving Connor Menadue or Nick Robertson another chance if we can get away with a two year contract? Gives us some depth on the outside. Which one depends on if we think Menadue's ceiling hasn't been realised yet.

List does need more outside pace. Although I will say Leno Thomas is a rebounding half back with some wheels - to add alongside Carter. And next year we add Joel Western and Brandon Walker who are both speedsters so probably a short term gap at worst.

If someone we rate is available and a trade is possible, do it I say. Otherwise hold the pick for next year. Nothing to say there will be anything better available next year, especially with all the NGA's and F/S.

Is Riley Garcia outside mid? In foxsports he is written as outside midfield... If he is outside ,the slider of Garcia,Flynn Perez,Darcy cassar and Josh Shute at pick 67 ? (It could be 58/59 as many teams may pass...)

I would be trying to flip 2020 first rounders with a team that is confident that we will not rise up the ladder and that they will not fall. Love to see us attempt to swap 2020 firsts with a team like North to try get one of their picks in the 20s

Thought he played inside at the champs. Smallish, runs hard. I really liked him fwiw
