Traing Report from Today

It was a pretty intense session from the boys and they all looked like they were in gear. There was a bit of a mini match for about 10 minutes with Leon and Josh right into it which was good to see. Leon was going pretty hard at the ball and Josh seemed his usual self. He might be ready for the call up this week and hopefully Leon will light up the pockets of the MCG!

There was 2 long lines with one player facing the other standing very close. This was for a bit of dodging and weaving work. I notice with Meds, Pendles and Dids, they always know which way the other player is going to go, its amazing.

Swan, Didak, Travis, Dale, Pendles and Medhurst were all having shots for goal towards the end of training and looking at a couple of them names, you would think they need it. They were playing a similar game to the basket ball one Around The World. All of these boys were working their way around the 50 arc in a group having shots on goal and to tell you the truth they were shooting pretty well, so lets just hope they can do that in the games from now on! Jack Anthony as always trained the house down running hard and going at the ball like he was playing a game. You have to love this bloke, such a professional at what he does and its good to see he is finally getting rewarded for it!

Wood and Josh were in the cetre being boosted up by the bag that the trainer wears on his back and palming the pill down to the likes of O'Bree, Burnsy and Wellingham. When all the players had left the Scott brother was drilling the ball to Marty who was practising his leading. Never know, he might end up on one of the forward flanks this week. Could be very interesting!
