Can anybody post up some training pics of today's final training session? I am pretty peeved as I couldn't make it this morning. By the way, great pics for Wednesday's training session AWG!! Where were you sitting? Were you there last Friday?

December 22nd 2006.

All thanks go to the great men! :thumbsu: :)

Kennedy is a man mountain and tell Murphy to return my abs. :o

And get some SPF 100 for Jacobs.

Great photos.

Murphy looks only a few kkilos off being ready to compete against men...
Also, Saddington suddenly looks KP position size!

I went to training this morning and it was very hot indeed.

Josh Kennedy looked excellent up forward in the simulated full ground match work as did clinton benjamin up the other end. this kid has some serious toe and some freakish ball handling ability. interesting to see them using him across half forward and he was a stand out for mine.

edwards, lance, hartlett, mclaren, kouta and wiggins all ran laps while walker and both irishmen are still being eased back into some light skill work. sentanta is heckin'g massive. :thumbsu:

my two young boys were stoked as we ran into bryce gibbs in the car park and he signed their footballs and was keen on a chat.

spoke to kade simpson who said they would resume training on the 4th january with 3.2km time trial around pp.

Gee look at Walker - he is pumped for a big year next year.

Honestly - Murphy, Walker, Simpson, Kennedy, throw in Fevola and i get goosebumps.

And i have to admit, i'm kind of excited by us developing Cloke.

Woooo Kennedy. ;)

Holymoly...

Excuse me for appreciating our fine athletic players, but it's been a big day at work.:p

I agree with your summary of Benji, I was also impressed with the way Hampson moves for such a big kid.
Kennedy is a monster!
Houlihan looks like he has put on a fair bit of weight around the shoulders.
Stevens looks to be fitter than when he came to the club, he had that penetration back in his kicking.

I thought the skill level was a bit low, but it is only Decmeber. Hopefully this becomes a real focus after the break.
Ball movement seems to be a real focus, concentrating on forward movement as much as possible with long controlled kicks.
I had to leave during the match sim: I noticed Waite was down back a bit, did he spend much down there? From what I saw this could be a great move, his ability to be 3rd man up was very impressive.

I chose that photo because just look at Walker - the others are not squatting anywhere near as full on as he is - just shows his motivation and dedication - it's 110% for him. Also the strength in his legs, thighs and knees to be able to bend that low - it is hard on the knees and just shows how strong his body is at the moment.

i can't wait.

I absolutely can't wait when tex gets his kicking right, 55m drop punt straight to fev's chest. Now that's when he'd be ripping up the comp. His athleticism is second to none, his footy smarts are getting better and better and once he takes the next step, and gets his kicking right, we could see something special, very special.

Don't lie, you just wanted to look at their butts. ;) :p

Hartlett's appearance at training was great news. :thumbsu:
