I remember when he played his first game and he took a mark in the centre (I had just got home and turned the game on) and I thought 'WTF IS NICHO PLAYING FOR?'

Yeah he's had a haircut and he seems to be going pretty well. I'd imagine he along with Weetra are our 'project' players. Shane did pretty well for Sandy in 06 and given the oppurtunity arises, he may get a run in the red and blue sooner rather than later. I think we held onto him due to the fact that there has been an influx of above average tall ruckmen in recent times. Teams have sat up and noticed the dominance that someone such as Sandilands has had and will continue to do so given the small confines of the center circle, so clubs would probably be looking to draft these bigger units for example Hawthorn with Max Bailey and us holding onto Neaves, as Johnson will figure more in the forward 50 and Russian to performing his usual role.

As mentioned before, I'm excited as hell for the next decade or so when it comes to football. We've done really well in recruiting and finally, after all these years, I get the feeling this club is really going to stand up and be counted for
