I have not been able to catch any training sessions so far this year and i would like to get peoples thoughts on who is burning up the training track for collingwood?

Who has bulked up over the off season also?

Chris Egan looks ready to make a big statement. He has impressed in the trial games and is believed to be fitter than ever before.

Some watchers said he is unadept to hard work, but he has done the complete opposite and worked tirelessly on his game since returning to training.

I expect him to begin the new season in the same fashion and manner that saw him play well late in the year, that's the best outcome we could hope for.

I've only been to one training session but Dane Swan looked very unfit for a bloke many thought would move into the midfield fulltime. I can only see him play a role similar to 2006 - off the bench spurts in the midfield. However its only halfway through preseason, so I guess he still has a couple of months to get himself fitter.

The player to watch out for is Chris Egan, seems to have a strong body and natual footy smarts and will go when he needs to go, you guys should be very excited about him. Other than that, Swan will be a good solid contributor each week as he has begun to prove. Dale hopefully turns out to be a Hird type, he has the ability, if he bulks a bit he will become a champion in years to come.

I bloody Hope so, I hope he is not a 1 Season Pony!

Swan is a gun. Don't forget how deceptive he is which is why he gets under the guard. He takes little steps but is very quick and runs with his mouth puffing like a train. I think he's similar to Robert Harvey and Ben Cousins in that they are always resting and puffing. After the year Swanny had, he now knows the benefits of hard work and there's no way he'd be slacking off.
