He's just a natural footballer. Really, really good player
Looks even better this preseason.
Added more muscle. Fitter. More power.

Basically exploded from a stoppage this morning

Ideally would like to replicate last year where a few like WHE Mitchell Cox and Markov went from senior regulars to more depth / VFL options

Not sure who that might be this year? Howe? Sidey? Crisp? McStay? Membrey?
Maybe not Crisp but yes that’s what we need to see.

I'm sorta disappointed that Perryman is sill playing half-back. I think we need him as a Luke Ball type in the middle. I'm guessing Allan is the one they're trying there. Houston as a mid is good but I'd prefer Josh Daicos playing mid (we saw what he did in one quarter last year) and Houston back to the quarter-back type that he played with Port Adelaide -- everything went through him, from kick-outs to general play it it was: get the ball into his hands and let him hit a 50 meter pass. But it's still close to the team I would play.

Some positional moves from Friday -

Pendles down back
Demattia haf forward
Nick rotated half back and mid
Jordy fully forward
Lippa, Crisp, Ned, Allan rotated between wing and on ball (crisp may have been full midfield, it was hard to tell)
Houston was on ball

Draftees:

Swadling wing
Prindable and Anderson on ball.

Of course its not a full squad on deck so things could change.

I like these
Prob gives HDM the best chance of success
Houston more involvement
Swadling great place to learn
Printable / Angry let them use their strengths

Hi there Jen2310, is Demattia being groomed as a defensive half forward (or too soon to tell)?
