Trampoline Bear Ch 9 News

Did anyone see the 'warm and fuzzy' end of news story on the Nine News Melb last night?

A bear in the US gets a dart, drops from the tree onto a trampoline k'od, and bounces off the trampoline onto its neck?

It seemed like it was going to be one of those funny animal stories with the light hearted play on words, but in the end proved to be distasteful.

The bear survived, but I really failed to see the frivolity of these stupid humans.

Yet if it was some guy falling of a tree onto a trampoline onto his head, it'd be replayed ad nauseum on Australia's Funniest Home Videos, and no one would care.

There needs to be more of these news stories.

War, terrorism, police and teacher strikes, drug busts. That is some boring sh*t.

I just want to see a bear get shot in the arse, followed by a quick update on the water-skiing squirrel they showed a few months ago.

I seen the bear and I'd like to say for me being a non-polictical correct person "It was the funniest thing I've seen this week" If you have got cable tune in 9.00pm Saturday nights to channel 8 and watch an hour of Maximum Exposure.

Every post in this thread has had me laughing. Even the opening post had me giggling. I couldn't care less if it was Bear, a Whale or some drunk bloke at a trailer park shin-dig, I thought it was some excellent and highly amusing footage and my only problem with it is that I don't have a copy of it. Anyone got a link?

Need more warm and fuzzy human interest stories ? - watch 'Sunrise' in the mornings on 7 - thats just one big warm and fuzzy.
