Transport

I agree with the previous sentiments about public transport and Waverley. It was the grounds biggest drawback imo.

Grendel hit the nail on the head when he said transport was the biggest advantage of the Hawks move to the G. I catch a tram from Hawthorn to the footy nowadays and have no complaints. The new stops between the tennis centre and the MCG are great as far as I'm concerned.

Last year when Hawks beat Adelaide to set up a finals position the tigers lost out about 2 mins later bu losing to Sydney

We went up to the social room to give the tiger fan's trains time to get round to richmond from the Colonic stadium.

But the train was an empty one but minites after the Hawk train left Richmond station a train full of very unhappy Tiger fans came alongside for about 30 seconds.

We were all there grinning away and the tigers on the other train were pretending they hadn't seen us. Very funny.

Gee, I don't know what all the complaining is about.

Public transport to and from the MCG is excellent. It is reliable, generally clean and usually comfortable too.

If there are dickhead (insert club here) supporters on the train, well I hardly see how that is Connex's (or whatever the hell they are called this month) fault.

As for the graffiti, if we shot vandals then that wouldn't be a problem either.

Waverley? Admittedly there was no public transport, but driving the Falcon out there was never much of a problem given the size of the car park.

I suppose you can't please everyone.
