I'm looking at buying a car in another state and having it transported to me since the drive would be too long.
Can anyone recommend me some reliable companies i should be looking at? Toll Group?
What should be the main process, from purchasing the car and having it delivered to my house? Should i consider transport insurance?
Thanks

I sent mine Perth - Melbourne by rail. Can't remember which company I went through cos it was a few years ago. On the insurance thing - check with your car insurance provider if it's covered. Mine was already covered so I didn't have to fork any money out. Also, expect your car to smell like red dust for the next month.

Too long. Pfft.

I've done Melbourne to CQ several times.

Never go via Indian Pacific.

They bumped my car off the train last minute despite me booking and paying in full well in advance. This was from Perth to Sydney.

I am happy to pay a few more hundred $$$ to go via a truck or drive myself in future
