Toast Travelling Tigers

Sorry if there is already a thread about this.

I'm not sure if this is significant or not but Richmond haven't lost travelling interstate since round 1 last season against Gold Coast, apart from the final and playing North Melbourne in Hobart. And since this round last year beaten every interstate team away, apart from Gold Coast, didnt play them.

I reckon that deserves a toast given how much teams talk about travelling. Reminds me of reading about 2010/2011 when Collingwood would love playing away as a unit with an us against them mentality.

The players should go to a hotel in the city to sleep before every game. We seriously love and are good at travelling. Doesn't seem so long ago that we could not win interstate at all. Now we just go about it and come away with the win. Bring on the Swans in three weeks.

Better than that we should fly the team to Sydney or Adelaide and back each Wednesday or Thursday to make it feel like we are playing interstate

Still, given Victorian teams have won seven of the last eight flags, I wouldn't mind seeing us play some good football against other Victorian teams
