You delisted this guy why? I know he had his fair share of injury problems but his disposal is awesome, hes a good size and also seems to have some footy smarts about him. How you decided to delist him instead of King, JON, McMahon etc etc is bewildering. Having a ripper in the WAFL today and has been good all year. A certainty to be drafted by another club next year. Threw in the towel WAYYYYYYYYY too early with this boy

Yes, the Richmond supporters delisted him.

Whoever did clearly had a agenda against him. Clearly talented and AFL ready, Not good signs when you let him go given the form hes showing. Id suggest he may even end up a 2nd-3rd round selection next year at extreme minimum a 1st round rookie pick

We pick good players to take from the rookie draft, but we never send the right ones back to the rookie draft.

He was never on the bloody park, always injured like a little girl with soft tissue injuries.Good riddance!

why didnt anyone else pick him up them embers:confused:...he spent almost his entire year in the thirds and would have been lucky to have made the best players twice, and never would have been BOG,,,could never get his body right, and may very well be a late developer..i recall Miller always rabbitting on about him

I agree with Embers in the fact he has a lot of genuine ability and can play but yeah something like 7 hamstrings in 3 years doesnt help. I agree Casserly >>> King but doesnt matter good luck to him hope he makes it.

his clearly an afl player really? who selected him out of the other 15 clubs once we delisted him ... ? is he at west coast now????

means his not clearly an afl player u goose

Should never of been delisted they were at least 6 guys on our list that should of went before him.
We could of retained him or redrafted him.
I know he had alot of injuries but gee we are not blessed with many skillful half back flankers.
But thats right we went and got Macmuffen for $330k per year and he is playing twos.

He could well have been a senior player but the hamstring problems stuffed him good and proper, could be a rookie prospect for Freo or West Coast.

You can't possibly blame the club for delisting him. He had at least 5 bad hamstring tears in the 3 years he was listed, played maybe 20 games for the coburg 1sts and whilst he showed some good things he never got a BOG or anything that I can remember.

Even if he gets picked up by another club next year, they'd better keep in mind he has the hammys of a 70 year old.

well then why didnt the egirls pick him last year if he was so friggin good ??

nah i liked trav
massively crueled by injury.
really unfortunate for the boy..
would be great to see him get picked up again one day

Out of curiosity what position did he play for your lot at Coburg etc. From what I gather he was mainly a wingman/HFF. In the WAFL he rotates between HBF and back pocket depending on matchups and looks very well suited in defense. I have no idea why he hasnt atleast rookie listed given some of the hacks we ended up rookie listing/re rookie listing. Certainty to make a AFL list next year in some shape or form.

Played mainly down back and showed a bit on the odd occasion he played. But like Meyer you can only pesist with someone for so long. He was constantly injured and never really looked like a future prospect for the club.

You didn't gather much then as 90% of his footy was off the Half Back Flank.

Apparently was offered a rookie slot at the end of last year but didn't want a bar of it.

Good luck to him. He certainly didn't have any when he was with us. We made the right decision on him but. You can't keep an injury prone kid on the list who didn't really show that much when he did get on the park.
