Now or never for this bloke... i know his injured but when he comes back he has to be playing for his future. Will he turn into an Alex Gilmour? I hope he doesn't!

has already been offered new contract and will stay very highly rated by the club

He will not be delisted because of injuries, it's not like he will always have injuries forever.

He has too much skill and we will give him another 2 years at least.

Is already performing.

already performing? he hasn't done anything mate and really needs to step up:thumbsu:

someone claimed he is the most skilled, but I think thye might be taking the piss out of us, since he is behind so many players. from what i see, he is average at best.

Anyone who can take a good grab, runs up the ground and fires 50 metre passes to hit forwards on the chest are talented enough to stay on Richmond's list thanks ;)

He definately has the tools to be a good player, that is why we gave him another contract. He's 19 too and is better than pick 40 (it's about time we found players with later picks who don't appear to be hacks).

What little I have seen I was impressed, anyone doubting ask the guys who actually see the Coburg games. Most who do rate the fella, can't wait to see him in the seniors.

Alex Gilmour did Drugs and pumped Booze all day, he deserved what he got.

Casserly is nothing like that, it's just that he's been cursed with injury, everything else is A1.

Seen him a couple of times and he's been solid for Coburg, if he can continue with improvement could be a player.

Has definitely shown enough at Coburg to persist with him. Has been patchy due to injury.

You may have looked up some AFL data spreadsheet and he has no stats so you've jumped to the conclusion that he is useless .
Not saying he is a guaranteed star but he is skilled and that's enough to warrant being patient with him

He is still a week from returning I think, so I would like to see him string 5 or so solid-to-good games at Coburg and then have him bough into the side toward the end of the year to play 1-3 games.

I would also like to see Jack Riewoldt play at least another couple and to see Conners and maybe even Peterson also line up for a match. JON should get another call up soon as he has been decent for Coburg the last few weeks, hopefully he plays in another 2-5 matches for the year.

Others I would like to see make it into the firsts would be McGuane, Moore and Hartigan. The last two are likely to be delisted but I would mind getting one last look, esspeacially at Harts

did win the clubs handball contest,

and i think come second in the kickin contest

that was a while back but

He'll be around for a while, is the prototype Wallace player. Excellent run off half back and a fantastic kick off the ball. Has struggled to string 2 full games together in his time at the club because of injury, hopefully he can get some games into him and maybe crack the senior side by seasons end.

yeah, but krusty-knickers - we all know you haven't seen much.

:)God help us any afternoon for the remainder of the season that I see Moore, McGuane, Hartigan, Peterson, Conners, JON, Casserley and Riewoldt all playing in the one senior team.
Ahhhh the devastation!!!
Not pretty!!!!

A few more games from young Jack would do me....maybe McGuane.

More of Moore and Hartigan.....no thanks!

Hope it's in the return game with the Catters!! But really the Tiges need to find out all about their youngsters, not a lot of point minimising the damage to the season, at 0-10-1 it's academic whether you win 1,2,3 games this year. I also wish Nathan G all the best, i hate seeing terrible injuries, and he deserves to come back. Voss played 3 flags after his broken leg of 1998, it took 2-3 years for him to fully come back.

Cheers for the wishes mate... good to see a football follower just wanting to see the best players regardless of the jumper they wear. :thumbsu:

FWIW, l hope we put on a better show next time.

The link above has GM saying Cass will get a 2 year contract :thumbsu:

He gets 4 total years and he hasn't even played a game yet, that is serious support. Great to see. Cleve Hughes getting another 2 years is good news too, puts to rest any distant rumours that he'll return to SA anytime soon.

the tigers have carried too many players that havent even debuted yet. this is unacceptable and one reason why the tigers future looks bad. the ones that have, look substandard so i can only image how bad the rest are.:thumbsd:

Piss off troll, you are clearly not a Richmnd supporter, who are you trying to fool :thumbsd:

"Too many players yet to debut" ???

Apart from Casserly the only players yet to debut are 1st year players who all get compulsary 2 year contracts!

So who are these "too many" players we are carrying who are yet to debut then smartass?!

you should know the list better than me, i rarely took much notice of the other until last few weeks (when i realised how bad they are scratching for decent players) besides casserly, where are conners, peterson and collins at?
