Is it just me, or does anyone else think he was somewhat missed on saturday night??

It's riveting to think that he has only just turned 19. Had he been drafted at normal age instead of drafted bottom age, he would have been a 1st season player this year. Safe to say his development is still well ahead of any realistic schedule. He is actually younger than a couple of this years batch draftees. (Daniel Nicholls, Shannon Cox, couple of weeks older than toovey)

hard to say i think he is a victim of our game plan and the fact that our forward line is fully fit and therefore stacked with talent! He is very important in the setup but they dont go to him directly because we have better options atm! i think it would be good for him to have a spell and dominate down in willi before we bring him back

i think looking back he has been fitting in well to this forward line, playing a linking role. He's been taking some strong marks down the wing and CHF. Provides good service to our KPP

I think at this stage Travis needs to be part of this team going forward. Presents well all day, even if at times he is overlooked for more experienced targets.
Will still demand a big, agile opponent which at least takes them away from Rocca's or Tarrants vicinity.
If his demotion is based on letting him get tha ball alot more at a lower level where he will be more of a focal point, then I agree with the move.
But hopefully we see him back in the seniors sooner rather than later.

He wasn't dropped was he? He was a late exclusion, and surely he'll play next week. He was a big loss because it meant that Tarrant had to come up the ground more which prevented him from having an effect in front of goals.

With both Richards and T. Cloke out, maybe Malthouse wanted us to be smaller against the speed of the Eagles on the big ground. He must have had some sort of injury is my thought though.

Yep, I think we missed him - would have really stretched the WC back line

Yes, he was missed. Cloke sets up a lot of the ball around the centre square, and even though he is 19, I think he is an important part of our football side. He also takes a good key defender out of the game, which, in the long haul, frees up Tarrant. As it stood Tarrant had an off night, so we certainly lacked Cloke's presence at CHF.
