Would never make it to the PSD anyway, even if he did leave Collingwood (unlikely) - GC or another club after a key forward would snaffle him in the first round, and we'd be bonkers to use #6 on him. Wouldn't actually put it past Geelong if they're in the mood for gunning for another flag - he'd be a great fit down at the Cattery.

I agree with this. We have 0% chance of getting Cloke. The Clokes are obviously money hungry people, you would think they would be smart enough to ask for a 1 year contract for Travis, then when GWS come in next year $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ roll up roll up.

Whilst I really don't want Cloke this would work beautifully for several reasons.

1) Collingwood gets screwed

2) We would get a mid-first round compo pick for him I reckon. It's tanking without tanking.

While you need to divorce the value Cloke would bring to the RFC from the emotive, I do believe, from my Collingwood spies that attended, that Travis said some rather "choice" things publicly at the Copeland Trophy night re Richmond.

Why write things when you don't know what your talking about? We just signed Grigg for roughly $300,000 a year ... Collingwood offered Cloke around about $500,000 a year for three years.

D.Cloke wants hes son to get at least 50k more a year and is trying to get a 2 year deal for around 1.2 million.
