Travis Gaspar

Gaspar is out of contract at the eagles and is unhappy with the 1 year deal he has been offered. Would it be worth us offering him a 2 year deal and recruiting him through the PSD? I know he is a risk due to his injury problems but he is a tall defender capable of playing on the really big forwards. An extended deal would be tempting for him, because he knows another injury plagued season will probably see him delisted.

If Gaspar does decide to go to the PSD its most likely that he will get picked up before our pick in the PSD

I dont rate him. Didn't do much at South Freo this year either.

I think the Eagles will eventually give him a two year deal if he threatens to leave. They have put alot of confidence in him throughout his injury plagued career and they are desperate for key position players, so I can see them taking that little bit more risk to get themselves a quality player.

Looks like the Tigers are interested and they have pick 5 in the pre-season draft, but they are also interested in Kasey Green and Ben Haynes. They're just trying to decide which they want.
