Not in the slightest. Do you want to rebuild this club or sit on the same B-grade players we've relied on for the last few years. If they can get something even halfway decent for him then it's goodbye and good luck Trav.

Naturally this won't actually happen because everyone involved with our club is as conservative as **** and is too scared to make the hard decisions because they're too scared of people having a whinge again like when we got rid of Woewodin.

TJ has peaked and is on the way down - if we're even halfway serious about starting again and getting our list right we should be trying to flog him.

The team does in no way need to start again, 1 bad year does not mean we need a massive rebuild. What we need is to get a few more young players in the draft and mix it with some more experienced players we could get and build around the team we already have.

Spot on ... you should be on the comittee :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu: or at least his manager to give the bloke a wake up call hes needed for the past oo .. 4 years ?

i dont think you need a total re-build, you've had bd luck with injuries and were a good side last year. This situation is similar to what Collingwood was in a few years back. Just need an injection of youth, a bit more pace and flair, and maybe a bit of a revamp in the midfield and you'll probz be back in the eight again next year.
You've also lost a few games by less than a kick. You definently dont need a rebuild unlike richmond who are utterly pathetic and their best players are quite old. Would there be a posibility of trying to get Fev as Neitz is getting old and needs help if he decides to play on next year.

No, we wouldn't be interested in Fevola.

Our current forwards are Neitz and Robertson, while we have a few handy young players in Newton, Bate and Dunn who could develop into key forwards.

Of course we would.

Sorry, I should re-phrase that.

We would be interested, any club would be.

But we wouldn't be absolutely desperate to get our hands on him, and we wouldn't be willing to give up a top draft pick or a top young player.

The Bulldogs, West Coast, Adelaide, etc... would be the teams that would really want to get Fevola.

Having johnstone out of the side is probably the opposite of tanking. Great player when all is going well, and has a fantastic shot on the run from outside fifty on any given queens birthday, but when the side is down and we need players to sacrifice their bodies and win a hard ball, he goes missing. Unlike many other players we want to trade, I'm sure he'd be of some value.

Fev can play but lose's it very quickly , like Jeff Farmer used to do.

Don't want Fev at our club as he would be a very bad influence ala Trav at the Brownlow  Seriously as much as Trav can play he is very tradeable for a price.

I'd like Trav Johnstone at the Blues too - he'd add some genuine class to our midfield, which is developing but still doesn't have the polish that Johnstone has. Send him over...you guys can have David Teague in a straight swap, he's a former B and F winner at the blues you know. :D;)

yeah i would love for the bombers to pick him up...
hopefully you do trade him

And I thought we were the only club who had thrown the white flag up. Welcome to the land of slops!

Too much of a pretty boy Teague. Might watch replays of himself on the big screen instead of concentrating on the job.

I'll take a ugly player who can play anyday. God weve had our fair share in the past.

Seriously, anyone who thinks Melbourne is going to a quick rebuild and a sudden injection of young great players are fooling themselves. The draft in 2007 is short of talent, especially tall player. Last year was the year to go hard. Afraid we have missed the boat once again.

We need a rebuild of the total administration team.

Perhaps you should take Morton and leave Cotchin to fall to Carlton's first pick if you finish 15th.

I hope you can play Johnstone back into form for round 22.
