What's the go with him?

How is his injury going, i know they are not rushing him but has he hit the track yet?

Anyone seen him do anything, even just having a kick to kick.

I look forward to seeing how he goes when he finally plays.

He's still a few weeks away, apparently.

Just started kicking with his injured foot awhile back, so I suspect the club will continue with the easing in approach.

He is still very young so i would imagine the club is taking a very conservative path in regards to playing him. Thick cotton wool for him i would imagine

Be great to unleash him as the ace up our sleeve in a year or two. Been missing that X factor that those gifted aboriginees bring to the game....

I sat next to Varcoe at a VFL practice match a few weeks ago. He was talking to a couple of friends next to him and said that he hadn't even done any running at that stage. He'd spent the whole summer in the pool and gym. He looked magnificent though, very well defined and much stronger looking than I expected. Ready to step straight in when his body's right.

Expect him to play VFL in a couple of weeks and take it from there.

I am with you Strong Hands.

In fact as stupid as this is, given I have never seen him play before, I think he will play finals footy this year. I have just got this feeling about this kid, and I reckon he will just burst on to the scene. He is full of confidence, and I think he will be electric, and might just add something out of the ordinary come the end of year.

Can't wait to see him in the VFL. Looking forward to watching Nath again this week also.

Just good vybes all round down at the Cattery.

How you doin all... Varcoe is still 2-3 weeks away from playing vfl level. With Steve Hocking running the injury show down there, I believe the player will be given that extra week.. so 3 weeks away you could say.

You'd then probably want Trav to get through 6-8 games in the vfl before pushing his way into the 1s. That way you know he can run out a match and there are defienetly no troubles with his ankle.

Exciting young player... go cats!!
