How is he going? When is he ready to play. Has he still got that ankle/achilles injury

and yes he is still injured, expected to be taken off the long term injury list after rd 3.

(I think) a possible VFL return about rd 5, and then who knows...

10th of May ABCTV Round 6 Vs. Collingwood At ABD Group Stadium, should get to see him running around.

From all reports he is meant to be Del Santo the 2nd.......

Quicker than Dal Santo already, and can push forward and kick goals. Has that burst of speed, where, he can go into a pack, come out with the ball, and have disposed of it before his opponent has had time to put a hand on him.

Trust me guys, you have a got a great talent on your hands here.

Trent is very bottom aged, and only got into this years draft by 3-4 weeks. Don't be in any hurry to play him at AFL level.

Thanks HBF. Sounds like a real little gem. God knows we need a bit of a lift after the last 2 weeks..

I would have said Cotchin is more Nathan Foley with very good foot skills than a Dal Santo type who isn't anywhere near explosive enough.

Hopefully he works harder than Dal Santo, Dal is such a lazy player, all the skill in the world, but goes missing when the going gets tough, just look at Friday night!

After seeing what Kruezer did tonight, i know who i would prefer ;) That kid is going to be a star and his leap is just insane.

Knowing our developement and player attitude disease, cotchin is in trouble at our club :(

Foley doesnt have "very good foot skills"? I would say he has!

Nah, we kinda gloss over that because he is the only one capable of consistantly winning the ball in the midfield :D

His foot skills are very good, just not as good as some would make out.

Twas a good debut however dispite his lightish frame he was a "ready made player"... he can and will only get better... very much a cross between Cox and Goodes...

I wouldn't worry too much about this... Trent has a very good head on his shoulders and all he was wanted to do is play football at AFL level. Look how you have brought guys like Newman and Foley on... Trent is like them, mentally...
