Gudday guys, I don't normally post on other teams boards, but I am curious as to the progress of Trent Henchell after injuring his knee late in 07?
I remember he tore us a new one a couple of seasons back(but who didn't though?:o) and looked ready to take that next step.
Anyway hope hes doing well and comes back as good as ever.

There are a few training threads spanning over the past few weeks which mention Hentschel and how he is going. Most should be over the past few pages of the board. He is going very well though :thumbsu:

Have spoken to a guy within the club who says that Hentschel has so far done everything he could do and is on track for a full recovery.

He wont ever fully recover. It'll be amazing if he can actually get back and play a game, his leg is royally rooted.

Ok. Thanks for that. For a second there, I thought I would take the word of the guy from within the club that said Hentschel was going to make a full recovery but since some random guy from BF says that his leg is royally rooted, I realised the guy from withing the club was talking of his arse.

The fact that he played a number of games for the Eagles last year I suppose means nothing?

He looked very good when I saw him at training, very mobile and was making Tippett look slow and unfit.

In that training camp video, Stephen Schwerdt...

"Who has been the big surprise packet?"
"Ahhh... Trent Hentschel. Just the fact that he can train."

Gee, by the sounds of that he's come a lot further than the Club may have thought he would get. I can't wait to see him play again for the Crows, I will be so happy for him. Fingers crossed everything goes to plan :thumbsu:

Take the word from the guy who says he spoke to someone within the club then. Doesn't bother me.

He wont ever fully recover.

I think what you are trying tell the nitpickers on this board is that whilst TH is training well etc., he will never get back to the level he was at before he did the knee. IMO if he makes it back it will be as a defender.

Modern society dictates one must dispute every little detail on these internet boards which do not conform with the herd thinking.

Im sure it was painful mentally and physically; those games wouldve given him confidence so it wont be for nothing.

A car crash victim with a smashed knee could gain confidence from the first step. I just hope he comes through a solid season; I miss his brain up in the forward line.
