You've made VEEDUBS day.:)

He's got a point though. Although Blake was next to useless around the ground, he was a good tap ruckman, and he was nearly always available for selection.

They reckon round 1, but then he won't be match fit I guess. No Simpson, no Hmac, I guess that leaves.. Um, who rucked a whole heap in 2011 before he went to the forward line?
Don't even go there, he is NEVER allowed to ruck again. Hell, I'd prefer to have Stokesy rucking than Hawkins.

Gotcha mate, cheers. At least playing on the Monday of the second week of the first round gives him the most time possible to get right for the opener if nothing else.

**** ME DRUNK!

Get Stokesy on stilts running laps now.... this is getting ridiculous.....

Blicavs might get a rookie promo after all....

Go Catters....

I posted this elsewhere, may as well paste it here aswell.

Thats a huge worry really, well unless Balme is correct and it wont affect his season proper.
So, whose going to ruck? Blicavs and Vardy?
Do we try Bathie there or give Walker a game or 2 as a ruckman to see if he can improve?
I wouldnt mind seeing bathie actually, hes tall, he has a basketball background, could be another arrow to the Cats bow

Nathan Vardy is who I hope you're talking about

Going by what Balmey said and knowing how Balmey is Westy has had LARS put in on both knees and had his Achilles replaced with those red rubber bands the posties use

WE need better cotton wool.... the stuff we are putting our players in is clearly not working.....

GO Catters

I don't think McIntosh has been ruled out for Round 1, but you wouldn't be counting on it at this stage.

Bathie and Blicavs need to get a lot of time in the ruck in the remaining NAB Cup games...Walker too (I reckon we pretty much need to protect Vardy and just give him a few 10 minute bursts in there each half...simply can't afford to lose him now). Unless one of the 'B' rookies absolutely kills it in there, Walker will almost certainly be the upgrade.

Realistically, the Round 1 lineup will probably be Vardy and Walker, as the upgrade for Simpson. Probably not too catastrophic against the Hawks, but we'd want McIntosh and/or West up for Round 2.

I hope you're not talking about a plate in his hip before to long:confused:........2013, it was all looking so good a month ago.....What happened?? :(

Walker's in.
Bieng positive, at least its only minor surgery for west and hmac. They should both be back earlyish in the season. But yeah, not ideal. Does this mean certain media 'personalities' will excuse us if we have a bad year like they did with essendon and Carlton last year? 'because they had injuries'?

Not a chance. They will be lined up for miles to have a ping at us.
