You've made VEEDUBS day.We don't actually have a ruckman available this week. At least Blake was durable....

They reckon round 1, but then he won't be match fit I guess. No Simpson, no Hmac, I guess that leaves.. Um, who rucked a whole heap in 2011 before he went to the forward line?http://www.geelongcats.com.au/news/2013-02-26/west-sidelined-for-nab-cup.workstation
Doesn't sound too major with any luck. Round 1 still likely?
You play us...you'd still find a way to get the 4points even without a side![]()
Don't even go there, he is NEVER allowed to ruck again. Hell, I'd prefer to have Stokesy rucking than Hawkins. They reckon round 1, but then he won't be match fit I guess. No Simpson, no Hmac, I guess that leaves.. Um, who rucked a whole heap in 2011 before he went to the forward line?

Geelong Cats general manager of football, Neil Balme, said the procedure wouldn’t sideline West for an extended period of time.
2 weeks?RUCK ME!! Bloody injuries to our ruckmen.
This is the part that worries me.
What is an extended period of time in Neil Balme's universe?

Nathan Vardy is who I hope you're talking aboutThey reckon round 1, but then he won't be match fit I guess. No Simpson, no Hmac, I guess that leaves.. Um, who rucked a whole heap in 2011 before he went to the forward line?
Going by what Balmey said and knowing how Balmey is Westy has had LARS put in on both knees and had his Achilles replaced with those red rubber bands the posties useI posted this elsewhere, may as well paste it here aswell.
Thats a huge worry really, well unless Balme is correct and it wont affect his season proper.
So, whose going to ruck? Blicavs and Vardy?
Do we try Bathie there or give Walker a game or 2 as a ruckman to see if he can improve?
I wouldnt mind seeing bathie actually, hes tall, he has a basketball background, could be another arrow to the Cats bow
Time for vardy to step up to the plate

Bieng positive, at least its only minor surgery for west and hmac. They should both be back earlyish in the season. But yeah, not ideal. Does this mean certain media 'personalities' will excuse us if we have a bad year like they did with essendon and Carlton last year? 'because they had injuries'?I hope you're not talking about a plate in his hip before to long........2013, it was all looking so good a month ago.....What happened??
Walker's in.
