Hi Tiger fans,

Met Troy Simmonds the other day... Extremely nice guy, he's tall as well haha. Took some of his own time to come down and do a bit of training at Montrose.

Not sure how good he is as a player because the only Richmond games I've watched were against Essendon (you guys really should of won) and Melbourne (thank god you won hah).

Anyway just dropping by, hope you have a win on the weekend.

Didn't want to start ANOTHER stupid appreciation thread but this guy deserves some credit not 1 thread on him and he's possibly been our best player this season. Was brilliant on the weekend hope he keeps up the form! Right now he would be in the Ruck All Australian position...nearly!

He gotten alot better as the season's gone on. He is really important as a hard body in the centre square who can act as another midfielder and get his 15-20 touches a game

Absolutely spot on. Especially in the last qtr when he was off for around 10mins.

Have heard that Simmo is not happy at Richmond, and will definately not be playing there once his contract expires next year.

Absolutely hates Nathan Brown, can't stand the bloke, says that no one likes him except for Sugar Kane at the club.

Just wonder how much effect this is actually having on the playing group, surely it can't be good if no one likes him.

Simmo had better be happy at Tigerland after enjoying a healthy 5 year contract!
I don't particularly like some of the knobs I work with but I still get the job done.

I hope that this isn't true and that he does play on, atleast for the sake of the development of our future ruckmen. I think that what you have said has some merit. On thing that comes to mind was the Patrick bowden's great goal a couple of years back against the dogs ( i think) He pretty much ignored browny and went and celebrated with everyone else and browny was out their trying to give a high five for what seemed an eternity.
