I suspect when TW alluded to a few senior players coasting none other than Tucky was at the forefront of his mind. When playing at out peak in Ploughs time, Cogs and Tucky were 20+ possies a week midfielders...Tuckys workrate has dropped to 60% of that, NOT good enough. I wonder whether his approach to the game has dropped off, dont know answer to that. Only that his output has fallen off the radar...Lift Tucky, you can do it pal

Was tagging Kirk on the weekend and Kirk had no influence on the game. I would rather him tag on players with Johnson and let Deledio, Tivendale, Tambling, Hyde kick and make space pretty much because Tuck and Johnson can't kick for shyte.

I want to see how our midfielders go when they are working with a competitive ruck division before I praise or bag any of them. I thought they did a bloody good job last week against some scary odds as the likes of Kirk, Goodes and Bolton hardly dominated even when being fed by Everitt and Jolley. A pretty creditable performance really regardless of who was on who. I would be looking for much better this week with Simmonds about up against the Collingwood engine room who showed just how much impact Cox has on West Coasts form.

Tucky is a good depth midfielder at every other clubs. At our club he is the no.1 midfielder, and therefore targeted. Tells you that we have by far the worst midfield in the comp.

Johnson, whilst not a star is currently our best option as captain and is also the reigning B&F winner. Sets a great example on the field and his work ethic is excellent. Not sure Newman is our best bet for a tagging role at this point.

Mate we just got smashed in the ruck against Sydney and won the clearances against one of the best in the business with our kids standing up and it still wasnt good enough. This board is full of contradictions atm.

tucky is struggling this season, but he has a great work ethic. when we get our full team back, the class of brown and simmonds will complement tuckys hard at it style. at the moment we have no class in the midfield. hopefully the likes of lids and tambling can get in there and give us some class while the others are out.

mate tucky is a gun... i remember him 4 years ago having a kick at Carrum Downs he was number 72. He busted his guts getting over 30 possies a week kicking a few goals for a team that got flogged by 30 goals every week. Mornington were about to poach him but he went with Shaun Rhens team in the SANFL. Great effort for a bloke having a kick at a crappy club at the MPNFL to an a gun at AFL doesn't happen very often... good effort he will get his form back as well dw bout that
