Well i have all his albums, the guys was amazing, i dont think any rap album would come close too the All Eyez on Me.

Did anyone actually listen too this guy, not only was he talented, he also didnt use crappy Synthesizers like Kanye and his songs were actually meaningful.

you guys are delirious, Notorious was over rated in my opinion, 2pac made rap what it is today (or should have been, until autotune destroyed it)

A mate of mine made a comment about the Tupac vs Biggie debate that was really spot on, IMO -

Biggie was a better rapper, Tupac wrote better songs.

Personally, I prefer Biggie. Better beats, clever lines, and generally a much more raw sound. He's more to my tastes, but I won't question someone if they say they prefer Pac.

Old school hip hop is the shit, absolutely destroys today's mainstream hip hop bar Kayne, and a bit of Eminem when he feels like it. ('So Bad' off his new album)

Juicy isn't overrated. It's a classic. Biggie had the smoothest voice of any rapper that has ever walked the planet.

That being said, Ambitionz Az a Ridah is comfortably my favourite hip-hop song of all time. Just absolutely epic.

Most people who listen to him outside of his albums would say California love and Changes :P, but Ambitionz az a ridah, cant c me, wonder why the call you bitch, Shorty wanna be a thug, all amongst his best in my eyes, perhaps Only God can Judge me now will be considered in his top 3 :) Love 3/4 of his work
 
Biggy isnt overrated. He was good but only 2 albums to his credit hurt him from being named the greatest.. No one has as many banging albums as 'Pac simple as that. Name a rapper with enough albums to match his? Only person who comes close is probably Nas or Jigga.

There is no greatest rapper ever... Everyone listens to rap for different reasons. I listen for rappers who rap real shit, have clever rhymes and can make a solid album you can listen to from start to finish with solid beats.

So my favourite rappers include 'Pac, Jay, Nas, Talib, Mos Def, J Cole, Game, Cube, AZ and Em.

To a much lesser extent ole' school Kanye and 50 (Power of the Dollar style).

Whilst others listen for catchy hooks, party style beats, party style lyrics and rappers talkin bout mackin the bitches. This is where people are divided over rap and argue. It shits me.
