As far as Sharrod's MRP chance go, it's not looking good.

Simpson has a broken jaw now, which will add to the sentence that Sharrod will be given.

Best case now is 3 reduced to 2 because of a clean record and a guilty plea.

Two massive momentum killers I thought were Clarke's handball straight to a Carlton player in their forward 50, goal, and Buckley's turnover in the middle obviously. They were both as bad as they were against West Coast.

I thought Clarke looked very tired after only 5 days break. Very surprised he played. Ah well 8 day break before the Cats who come off 6.

there were actuall 3 turning moments, the first when we got within a goal and jolly had a brain fart at the centre bounce giving a stupid lazy free away. cost us a goal.
then trav missing from 5 metres out after we got within a goal again and they kicked out and got another goal
then we got back into the game again and then S Buckley decided to kick it to a 1-3 to blair on his head. cost us a goal.
and i can forgive and forget buckley (spud player) and cloke (spud kick from inside 20m) but for jolly to give that free away was flipping ridiculous. fk he gives some dumb frees away.

i was one of only 4 people on the BF ingame chat (due to chief not paying his bills ). was having a chat to messenger (mod) and suggested that with the pies 3 points down (mid 3rd term) if we cant hit the front before 3 qtr time, we wont win, as our efforts to overtake them were proving fruitless. i think yarran then put the scum 9 points up and i declared we are gone.

What about when we had kicked two in a row in the 2nd, got within a goal, Betts marks on an angle and runs around to get straight in front. Why the **** wasn't play on called??

Btw the free against Cloke was simply for a 'push', rather than 'in the back', according to the spud Gieschen 'you cannot hold, block or push in a marking contest.' Seriously, wtf. That happens in every marking contest.
