I wouldnt worry about it. We were probably 70% tonight and we killed a team that other than us probably had the best record in the afl over the last 6 weeks. Unlike most other teams we do have gears and we dont need to click into 5th gear till sept hits. You cant win a grand final before september no matter how much the hawks fans want you to believe it!.

How good would Melbourne be if they didn't turn it over every second kick?

Turnovers are a part of the game.

LOL, we probably would have lost by only a couple of goals if we didn't turn it over as much as we did.

the style of game we play means that there has to be turn overs, from both teams. Our rebounds are far more devastating than other teams. Not an issue.

And you would have been closer if you kicked more goals! Better teams turn the the ball over less, but all teams do it. The amount that Richmond turned the ball over wasn't an anomaly, it was a statement of where Richmond is. Last night I thought we turned the ball over more than we normally do.

But Jim Boy if you think that's how many clangers Richmond normally dish out week-in-week-out you're mistaken.
I'm sure you don't, but you don't play Geelong each week and the pressure that means. Any team's clanger count will go up with an increase in pressure. If you think you are going to make the same amount of clangers against a Geelong as you do against a Melbourne, then you will be bitterly disappointed.
