How do you think the Turtles would line up against the Otway Districts??? Who would win? Match ups?
I would personally like to see Gouin v Pedge....

how would Adelaide match up against Boort?![]()
ablett19 said:I think thekid should put out odds for off field dominance for next week.
I'll have 10 each way on Boodz.
There is no point putting money on the coach as he will no doubt be at his best!!!!
In his prime, Davo would be extremely good value at that quote!!thekid178 said:I’ve just formulated a rough market for Best Off-Field:
2-1 Marcus Emmett - hopefully coaching duties restrain him
9-4 Stewart Sutherland - chirpy nature means he's always at the heart of the action
3-1 Cameron Baker - solid preparations in our functions to date
Tom Mullane-Grant – much like on the field, is capable of anything
Tyson Roberts - loose
4-1 Nicholas Gouin - always tries to steer clear of drama...always fails
Peter Derbyshire - always finds a stupid situation to get himself into. Past winner
9-2 Andrew Ellis - coaching may limit, but always an interesting prospect
Jarrod Wade - will be thereabouts at the finish
5-1 Marcus Cummins - good value at odds
11-2 Chris Metcalfe - you should always be wary of a man with a moustache
6-1 Jonathon Garrett – solid presence off-field
7-1 Luke Johnstone, Jason Beattie – fair to say they should do alright
8-1 Brian Taylor – when u own the venues u got some sort of head start
9-1 Brendan Peace – anyone who eats a live gecko needs to be in single figure odds
10-1 Matthew Harkin, Sam Harkin – no favoring siblings, they can be even
12-1 Dallas Byars – past winner, but will need to step up in this field
15-1 Hugh Saunders – we’re all lucky there’s no tap and fill prize in turtles
18-1 Chris Sanders – moon boot off, could be a surprise packet
20-1 Aaron Sawers - into his 2nd carnival, better for the run
25-1 Mark MacGowan – will need to find the pace early
30-1 Joel Martin – pretty much only cos I don’t know him well enough yet
33-1 Andrew Burchell – Priorities lie with the VFL, but can be peer pressured
35-1 Ricky Sullivan – first years often struggle to find the tempo
50-1 Luis Alvarez-Harris – consider this a challenge Luis
80-1 Andrew Knowles – too many Red Bull engagements
90-1 Iain Davidson – I think he’s got something on that week
100-1 Samuel Watson - looking like doing **** all on field, and can't drink with rounds. love you tho
any thoughts??? plenty of value in the market

ablett19 said:So 3 more days until the Turtles grace Austar Arena and excite the crowd with their antics!!!
1 thing I would like to see..... Maggot Emmett carve it up and Stew Sutherland to take someone out cleanly.... He is pretty good at footy you know???
bomber_42 said:Sutherland is capable of mixing it with the best of them ablett. However i believe the big hits should come from the way of Beattie and Knowles. Gridiron experience and plenty of previous outings have proven this. Would be interesting to see anyone elses thought's on who can deliver the "Bump of the Week" come Monday????
thekid178 said:based on his hit of the tournament in brisbane knola would be favourite for best hit, but there will be plenty of players willing to have a shot at the title no doubt!!!
tomsut_69 said:Knola, (if he plays) can lay the big bump no doubt dall. But seems these days the the only thing he lays out (is himself after head butting stews hip which was vicous, reminded me when Cavern attacked Lockett's elbow with a head butt too) are massive beats as rbdjak .

KingRich said:Turtles put in a less than sterling display last night on Austar Arena!
Good first half but wasteful in front of goal. Second half was marred by by poor decision making and improved play from Deakin. Turtles just scraped over the line in the end but there would be worrying signs there for the coaching staff!
Can they lift and still challenge for the Gold??
