my memories are clouded a little by a drunken haze also. i remember watching a one-sided final in '98 which was a disappointing way to end the week, but anyway hats off to RMIT for runners up.
they played in melbourne two years in a row. '97 footy games were played at glenferrie oval and victoria park. '98 footy games were at the albert park grounds, which was a let down as the grounds in '97 were excellent, so one could hit the ground hard even with a massive hangover, unlike at albert park.

anyway, it is good to see that macguiness's idea to start a team over a few beers at 21 arms has kicked on and is alive and well.

Is that the same Shaun McGuinness who is currently playing at Williamstown CYMS in D3?

is he a skinny little teaching runt that goes by the name Louie, and is pushing about 32? if he originally comes from the 'cun-try', ie down near camperdown somewhere, i'd say he's the same bloke.
