Felt the same way. Didn't feel invested in the characters or the story. It wasn't that funny either. Bit of fun.
I enjoyed Glow - can't compare it to Game of Thrones in terms of character depth, but for the genre I think it was executed really well.

Jackess just mentioned about not being able to get into the characters and GoT is a show with strong characters.
Yeah watched it yesterday in one sitting. Doesn't take itself too seriously, a welcome contrast to some of the TV I've been watching lately.
Totally agree, season 1 was sensational, pity the following series didn't live up to that high standard.

I'd not seen Vince Vaughan play a serious role and loved how he did it. But yeah, overall season 2 wasn't fit to walk in the shadow of season 1
Well Season 7 of Game of Thrones is about to drop. Was indifferent about last season but those final two episodes were rather remarkable. Interested in how this all plays out now. I think since season 7 is shorter it will be interesting from the start unlike previous seasons where nothing really happened for the first 2 or 3 episodes.
Whilst I understand why some people might not enjoy the "slow" nature of some of the episodes I personally love how they just slowly let it build up with tensions rising and character development/storylines building and then one episode it all goes bang and something unexpectedly crazy happens out of the blue.
I think the setup of the first ep was great - plenty occurred and plenty looks like it will occur.

Yeah I loved it too. Bran will tell Jon who he really is, just wondering whether Tyrion is part of the same lineage as well.

I'm not sure how they will fit everything into 7 episodes. Without the magic of George R.R Martin (yes I realise he still helps with the storylines etc. but it's not the same) I feel it will all be rushed and of inferior quality. I really liked the physiological aspects of the early seasons and I feel the complexity of the story is missing now.

Im still enjoying rick and morty. Ep 5 is Rick and Jerry. I think the first 4 eps was done with extra writers while the remaining eps are done by the original team
