Just thought you might like to know that Stinger was amongst our best against the Lions.

27 touches and completely nullified Simon Black.

Best game to date for the Eagles

nice good to see we have trained him well - saying that I'm happy with S thompson as compensation ! (also I watched that game - alot of those touches were pretty meaningless _

He was good totally stopped Black and got quite alot of possies around the ground. didn't have alot of impact on the game as he is a defensive midfilder but did his job. Great to see him doing well.

west coast has the new super midfield, you can not beat this
Judd, cousins, fletcher, braun, stenglein and embley when he plays in there. Plus cox and gardiner in the ruck. Super. Move over fab four its the fab 5
Yeah sheesh, they are all super players. When some of them misfire the others fire. Not 1 weak player in there.

Yep makes it very hard for teams to stop there entry into the fifty, seems as if they figured themselves out after defeating us down here...

You can also add Kerr and up and comers in Adam Selwood and Sam Butler with one or two other young blokes on the list.

Beau Waters is out for quite a while with OP but we're looking forward to having him back in the starting 22 for next year.

St Kilda will be a sterner test.

Can't argue with that. Also Hansen has been the type of player they having been missing up forward.

And to all those WC supporters who said that trading Stinger for Waters wasn't worth it, how do you feel now?

That was my first ever post on BF and i was crucified for it :D

Never said it myself. Waters is a real prospect and we just didn't want to let him go - notwithstanding Stinger's value.

happily, we've now got both of em.

Good on him, seems he has complemented an already tough midfield.

We're happy with Scott Thompson and a second round draft pick plus Robbie Shirley has stepped up in Stingers absence. Looks like a good deal all round.
