Too bad we are still getting that Kayne. Even Coldplays support was better.

I knew they'd come through! 2 concerts in 1 year for me :D

Pity about the crappy support.

I thought Kanye was supporting U2 and not the other way around?

Kanye doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as U2. He's base, annoying, formulaic R&B at its worst.

LoLz. Wrong on many levels, friend. It would be a shame if it ruined your night. I have a feeling you will leave AAMI Stadium as a true believer.

Keep in mind there is a good reason there is U2 must have picked Kanye. He has probably made the most universally admired (obviously to a degree) album for sometime in Late Registration, whether it be the JJJ hardcore types or chart disciple set... a place U2 occupied... in the past.

I was ambivalent about Kanye until that single with the grunting guy in the chorus who yells 'Yeh' throughout the song.

I ****ing despise that song with all the hate and hellfire I possess.

If you're standing next to me when he plays that ****ing pile of crap, watch out.

LOL. Are you on the floor too? We can't arrive late unfortunately like those lucky bastards with reserved seats.

How pathetic is it that not even Jamie Foxx is coming? What.. are we going to be hearing a recording of him singing his parts? How lame  :thumbsd:

Err, he plays with a full orchestra and half a dozen backing singers, so no, there will be no recording.

Kanye West is one of the few Hip-Hop/RnB acts I have time for. OutKast being another one.

He is rare in the hip-hop genre in that he doesn't have to curse to be a success. Of the albums I heard/purchased last year his was the 2nd best behind Arcade Fire's Funeral.

I'm glad U2 has finally named the dates, just ****ed off as to when they are.
Uni Of Adelaide exams go from November 4 to November 18. Concert is November 16.

I'm lucky in the sense that it could be after my final exam.
I'm not sure on the other unis, but they have started their exams a week later before, so it could fall in the middle of exams for UniSA and Flinders Uni students.

Mate, having been on the floor and seen how seating works in February, I can tell you standing on the floor is FAR better than reserved seating.

Yep I am @ UniSA and its in the middle of my exams. Just gotta hope I wont have any exams on the day otherwise im gonna have a **** view. The World Cup was on my uni exams, the World Cup Qualifier was on durring the middle of my year 12 exams. It seems anything big happens to fall during exams.

Yeah, I was in GA last year to see them and sure my legs were dead after but it was worth it :thumbsu:
Just wondering how crappy the view will be if i arrive 5:30ish?

I arrived at 7:30pm in a stadium of 90,000 people and still got a good possie...but then everyone was shorter than me over there, so it wasn't hard for me! But I was about halfway between the back of the crowd and the front of the outer fence (there's an inner one that you have to arrive like over a day beforehand to get a chance at)

Might be a bit harder in Adelaide, but 5:30 should still get you a good spot, given a lot of people will have to come after they finish work.
