How much is it raining? I have bad memories of Freo playing in the rain.

Mind you I can't remember the last time they played in really bad rain.

By Adelaide standards it's a sunny day hahaha. It's not too bad atm, mind you I'm stuck in my office without any windows today (so annoyed I can't go to the game).

Any chance then that the crows will be too tall??

You could argue that, but then again you have Dangerfield crumbing around the drop and he'll snap anything up. If he was 100% I could see Ibbo slotting in nice as a player to gather the skidding ball at ground level around the likes of Tippet, Walker and Otten.

Hopefully Lower will be useful having had a bit of experience here... and we can kick straight :)

lower, deboer, mcphee, walters, palmer and broughton are all players i think would thrive in wet conditions, and guys like mundy, hill, duffield and pav are all classy enough to still play their same game, the only player who could make a claim that the whether effects there game would be sanid, and even then he gets enough clearances to still dominate... no excuses

Last time we played in really bad rain from what I remember was in 2009 against Brisbane at Subi. Suban was one of our best players in that game.

Unfortunately i remember the last time we played in windy conditions against adelaide.
Its very windy at the moment an rain could be on its way :(

Ive tried to get that game out of my head but i cant.

Not one drop of rain once the match got started, although we did lose the banner before the game with the rain and wind just before the players cane out of the race :( so devoed about that! All that work for Pav's record breaking game and the banner falls apart just before the players get out on the ground.

Once the game was on I noticed a few shifts in the wind as it wad swirling around a bit at our Cheersquad end but no sign of any rain. Pav was smart when he won the toss to kick that direction of the wind as it made scoring at that end alot easier and took the pressure off leading into the first break with a 4 goal lead.
