Just got this game. I'm just wondering how the improvement stat works. If a player has a rating of 70 and an improvement rating of 30, does that mean by his peak he will be an 80 rating player due to the one third rule?
Overall, enjoying the game very much.

Yep. 1/3 of the improvement rating gets added on to the overall across a few pre-seasons

To be honest mate, Total Aussie Rules is probably the one coaching game I still haven't got my head around also .

I always make sure I use players that have a high form rating, you can see how their form improves and declines by using the reserves report.
