Absolutely woeful, the worst umpiring I have seen in a very longtime

Perrie dropping the ball, Mcleod being held onto in a marking contest, Mattner holding the ball near the end of the 2nd quarter, all discraceful :mad:

Umpire's wake the ******** up!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would you expect it to change now? Umps love Melbourne, always have , always will.
 
Umpiring was down than normal, but can't just blame them.

Really was a pathetic effort tonight from the Crows, I mean how Melbourne will get a comfortable win, when the scores were close right till 3rd quarter.

Critics were right, we are crap afterall :mad:

Interesting point though, in that the tackle came from under his armpit and the guy's hand was actually on his shoulder. BUT If it had been a Melbourne player i would have yelled ..BALLLLLL!!!

We got a bonus with the Hudson mark and goal in the 2nd 1/4.
 
Umpires werent too bad tonight.

The only thing i question is if the umps can actually see #23 for the crows. I know he's quick for FFS macca is getting smashed by them this year.

I certainly agree with this part jack. You're right on the money there, and you would have noticed that our coaching staff were far from happy with the number of frees we should have got, but didn't.

Having said that, I don't think there was anything wrong with their mindset at all - effort was never a problem. Poor disposal skills and poor decision making cost us dearly.
 
That Shmit bloke set the tone at the start of the match when the Demons defenders were roughing up Thompson, he decides to call the free against Scott instead. Go figure.
 
ahhh schitty paid a free against the crows, not really a surprise - south aussie that barracks for carlton! and has never liked the crows (most sa umpires don't from the days when cornes was in charge and used to stuff up their training times etc)

YOU HAVE NO IDEA. MELBOUNRE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE LEAST AMOUNT OF FREE KICKS THIS YEAR, AND THE MOST FREES GIVEN AWAY. LOOK AT THE STATS BEFORE YOU START WHINGING. That crow supporter is obviously about 10 years old.
I also said that melbourne would beat the crows by 25 points in a sub-par performance...and you guys said that if we didnt play our best we would lose...I was right and you were wrong!

THANK YOU FOR SHOUTING. I ASSUMED YOU WATCHED TONIGHTS GAME, YOU GOT VERY NICELY LOOKED AFTER. To make it simple for you, the number of freekicks is less important to where and when you get them; getting 10 frees at fullback is hardly as damaging as getting 10 frees at full forward. Now the result on friday night was not a direct result of umpiring, but they helped.

I even think the Godfrey one on the 3 quarter time was questionable, he took a dive, however, in our 50 in the first quarters there were 2 holding the balls that werent paid. I think 1 of them of burton, but i am unsure, all i know was that they were shocking umpiring desicions.

Jack we were the better team until 3 quarter time. We had a chance to win a tough away game and blew it.
 
yes i did watch the game. If you had noticed Ben hudsons so called mark that hit the ground. That ********house decision to pay the mark ended up in a direct goal. stop whining.

I watched the replay on that. Did you? He actually did mark it. And in any case, why are you arguing about one single decision? The Demons got the better of the umpiring decisions overall. Not that that's why we lost.

So birdbrain you are going to single one thing that we 'got' last evening to the amount of nothing in it frees your mob received and still your supporters weren't happy. Go to Mt. Buller now idiot. :mad:

By the way if you play like that you wont beat many sides. Utter garbage to think your a top team. You should have killed us.
