What did you think of those &^%$# officiating the match against Brisbane. Since when can you man handle a player (Lloyd and BigMal), and not get penalised. Whilst we breathe or look at a Brisbane player in the wrong way and it was a free kick. The Bombers not only had to try and beat Brisbane but also the umpires. WHAT A DISGRACE.

Lloyd was man handled? He kicked 5.

The only thing we can ever take out of most games against them is that Lloyd beats Michael.

Crap, but we didn't help ourselves.

Lloyd wasn't really hard done by, except for that one in the second quarter where he was blatantly being held onto by the arm/hand, and the umpire had full view of it and chose to ignore it. That cost us a goal, and Brisbane went and got one down the other end (which was the start of a long run of them), but I won't be blaming the umps for last night's effort.

That contest was 50/50. Lloyd was clearly trying to hold off Michael with his arm, and Michael was trying to get around to spoil. Play on was an appropriate call.

What, Lloyd trying to run for the ball but couldn't because he was being held back? IIRC he wasn't holding Michael in any way?

He was trying to hold Michael away with his arm. He wasn't grabbing him, but he clearly had his arm outstretched in order to impede Michael. Michael was trying to get around to get to the ball. It was a 50/50 decision.
