yeah i agree with you on that they needed to develop the relationship between the two main characters more!!!Cup_Half_Full said:Wicked movie.
I enjoyed it very much but it also left me a little dissapointed. IMO it could have been even better, this had "epic" written all over it.
The basic storyline is quality. Hate, betrayal, forbidden love, warewolves and vampires smacking the $hit out of each other. But they needed to develop the relationship between the two main characters more.
And they had Kate Beckinsale playing the sexiest vampire ever but she didnt vamp it up at all.
They also could have stepped it back a cog or 2 on the CGI. Sometimes they over step the mark where it goes from almost real to corny special effect.
Still very good.

lol...yeah that would have made the story line betterCup_Half_Full said:I was thing more of the lines of her chainging him up, having a quicky, and then taking off to fight the warewolfs.![]()
... i wonder what they would have wrote on the blurb if that had have been in the movie

I remember watching it and thinking my time had been wasted as well. Garbage.masked magpie said:to say this movie was CRAP would be an insult to crap

Left Field said:Not the best Vampire film I have seen, but better than most, and definately better than most Hollywood attempts at the Vampire genre. Preferred VAN HELSING, but still no Vampire film gets close the Jess Franco's THE FEMALE VAMPIRE.
yeah same... i wonder how many more they will make?? hope they make at least 3 cause i really enjoyed the movieHFC082 said:Enjoyed this film very much, and i am looking forward to the sequels

oh.. ok.. sweet Thanks UNIT!UNIT said:Underworld Evolution comes out about June...
sandeano said:I have the alternate cut of that flick - "Insatiable Lust", which contains more of her hard-core stand in than it does Lina Romay.
Left Field said:Lucky Bastard. I've seen a couple of different versions, but "Insatiable Lust" is the one I'd the most like to see.
sandeano said:Sorry for sidetracking the discussion away from "Underworld", but Leftfield have you seen Lina in "Doriana Gray"? Hardcore it may be, but it also works extremely well as a very dour and unsettling horror film.
I also have a film of hers called "Claire" which seems to be a film cobbled together out of a Jess Franco and a Jean Rollin production. I remember being excited that "Faceless" when I saw that both Lina and Brigitte Lahaie were in the same film, turns out they were in Claire together too, but I reckon both gals filmed their bits years apart.
