That's the second time this season we've been jumped in the first quarter and given away cheap goals.

Each week we're giving up 4-5 easy goals from simple errors whether they are skill errors or our defensive zones completely breaking down.

WC's dominance in the ruck won them at least 4-5 goals imo. Grundy will be a good player if he can be competitive in the ruck and do over his opponent around the ground. Today he was crushed and when a ruckman gets crushed it's very difficult to win. Watching his performance today it staggers me that we aren't employing a ruck coach.

Forget at end result, at one stage in the third quarter we were about 15 points down. It's pretty clear that these rookie errors are costing us games. Almost the exact same thing can be said for the Melbourne game imo.

What's costing us games is we have a very unskilled bunch of players.

Frost Oxley Brown Toovey Howe Blair Maynard Sinclair Langdon Broomhead... at best they're ok, but often they're pretty poor.

We're still struggling with our kick outs, giving sides multiple inside 50s in a row kills our momentum and it's only a matter of time before the opposition nails a goal and swings the confidence their way.
It's demoralising seeing the ball go uncontested from fullback to fullforward uncontested. Happened again today and is another unforced system breakdown
