I am pretty surprised that you guys are angry with the club for sacking Cousins. You have plenty of reasons to be angry with the club, but sacking Cousins is not one of them. It is probably natural to feel let down, betrayed and angry, but try to direct that towards the individual who has done this and the system and administration who let him. Your club needs to to a lot more to understand why this is happening to them.

1947 actually. Back when there were 6 computers (all the size of medium sized city blocks) connected together using 46 inch cables (Internet version 1.0) we were listening. We still are.
Benny was actually supposed to get away....but he couldn't follow simple instructions and had to be expended. We told him...'just don't take drugs and you'll continue to play with our protection'...he just didn't understand that so we had to take him out.
We actually told him he should get 'Socks Before Shoes' tattooed on himself but he even messed that up.
We'll miss agent Cousins.
I have, but that's not the point! I never refused to give a test and the moment Ben did that he convicted himself of the driving offence which the act relates to. unfortunately the police are still testing the other tablets found in Ben's possession.

Conspiracy is putting a spin on it.
The cops observe Cousins, Chick and some unnamed person meet in a park. Chick is pulled over and drugs found on the other person. Cousins is pulled over close by and searched for drugs.
It seems pretty bloody obvious that the police saw something going down in the park that made them nab Cousins and Chick. Not a conspiracy - it's actually their job.
lol...I'm not paid $800,000 a year and my offence was for driving without my headlights on. I could care less what you think of me because at the end of the day you react to one part of what's happened to Ben without taking into account the whole saga which has gone on for the best part of this decade.

Here's a tip - once you move out of home the chance of getting fines increase (you know, when you start acting independantly from your parents).
You asked about 'traffic infringement'. That could mean anything. For example: parking too long in a parking bay hasn't killed anyone lately.

It's the same penalty but there is no presumption of guilt - BIG DIFFERENCE.
It would mean, for example, you would still be able to enter the United States (assuming you had no other drug charges which in this case Ben does from the Valium).

He was in the club rooms both before the Grand Final and during half time. He is now back at the club (obviously to watch his boys) and by all reports is clean and very healthy.

Im still in a quandry...was cousins in posession of Illicit Drugs ? if so what were they ? if it was prescription drugs then I stand by this topic.

Diazepam (Valium), allegedly.
It is still illegal to be in possession of a prescription drug if you don't have a prescription.

1) look at the state Cousins' was in... shirt off, looking high as a kite and on a different planet. Only valium? yeah right.
2) Just because they only found valium on him hardly means that's all he had that night. If you were having e's/ cocaine, you definitely would have used it up by 11am.... hence he refused the blood test.
3) They found 2 more pills on Cousins' which are still being tested anyway.
A lot of people that know Cousins' are saying they are not suprised he got caught.

Regardless of the drug he was found with why did he refuse to be tested when requested to do so? What drugs are they testing for when they do this test?

Thanks for that. OK, if Cousins has not taken any of these but 'only' has this Valium then why would he refuse the test if Valium isn't even tested for?....

Ben cousins is only human no afl player chooses to be in the limelight a role model etc i envy a man who has such problems and plays footy so well that this much hype surrounds unfortunately what was nothing more than a very bad choice!
