Back around 5 years ago does anyone remember the swans running onto the ground with the 'up there cazaly' song? i know it seems abit odd bringing this up but can anyone tell me the reason behind this?

It was the same tune, but I think the words were "Up there with Sydney". I guess they used it because the normal punter would be familiar with the song.

Yeah. I remember singing the Sydney version of up there cazaly when they played it at the 96 Grand Final, but unfortunately it was drowned out by 90K people singing the orginal lyrics.

It was fun. But it wasn't Sydney's song.

There's the club connection as well - Roy Cazaly played for South Melbourne in the 1920's after a stint at the Saints.

It's more than 5 years ago, it's probably more than 10 since they did this.

Does anyone remember ..."Show It To 'Em Sydney"...the Edelstein/Capper semi-metal rocker that drove the opposition crazy after every Swans goal in that era....it was loud and bloody cool for the time. Wish I could find a copy of THAT one.

I remember with the cheerleaders dancing after the goals. I bought the tape of Sydney V Essondon where they score around 220 you get to hear the song a few times
