🤣 This report was broadcast in 2013. I agree there is no evidence any of the babies seen in that story having returned to vote in the US. This is simply because they won't be able to do so until 2031.


The people featured in that "Birth Tourism" story weren't emigrating. They popped off to the US and had a kid. Then waited around until they'd secured the birth certificate and passport, then hopped on a plane back to China. Back in China they were still subject to the applicable fine which depending on your salary could be as much, if not more than what they just paid for their 'Birth Tourism' jaunt.

You state it was a simple fine, and if they were wealthy enough to move to the US for a child, they would stay in China and pay the fine. You omitted the potential for forced sterilizations, loss of government jobs, loss of social status, violating the policy as a high ranking official was basically impossible. The child could lose all status, and be unable to access government services for their whole life, etc, etc, etc.

Did you not know, did you know, and it just entered that blind spot of facts that contravene your position, or did you just hope I didn't know?

Second, a child born to a Chinese parent overseas, where the baby gets foreign citizenship, generally did not count towards the Chinese one nation policy, even if they returned to China. Even China didn't try to limit births of ethnic Chinese outside China.

So, staying in a foreign country until the child got citizenship, was the entire point of this strategy of avoiding the one child policy.

Its a Frankenstein cobbled together nothing, because you took a years old story, that was well understood and known at the time, removed key facts (like well of Chinese not being able to just pay a fine and have as many kids as they wanted), and tried to spin it as, ooh, the scary Chinese are coming, its the boogeyman, they are going to vote.

Look at what these scary Chinese did, just so they could vote against Republicans in the 30s.

The Democrats are going to let the CCP take over.

It just reeks of desperation.

Trump is turning on Miller because of the immigration debacle. When Trump comes out and fires Miller, and blames him for the policies you have been defending, are you going to be team Miller, or team Trump?

The Iran war will go down in strategic and tactical critiques as a generational blunder. It will be talked of in the sort of hushed tones the Charge of the Light Brigade was.

Trumps industrial policy is such a blunder, that if he wasn't boasting about projects Biden started, he would have nothing to boast about at all.

His allies hate him. He has rendered all Americas treaties and deals worthless, because no one will trust them.

He has forced other countries to get closer together and exclude the US (thanks for the EU trade deal Donald).

He has other countries reconsider the wisdom of having US bases on their soil (the real basis for US military hegemony).

You have, but the Chinese, they are having babies!

I used the plural on both occasions for good reason. I knew the consequences of having a second child was more than just one solitary, monetary penalty.

The figure for January was 160,000 growth and February was a loss of 133,000 so the net result is a 27,000 gain. Add the March number to this and the result for Jan - March is a gain of 205,000.

Surely this is when Jamolad will now waltz in and tell you to "Do better dickhead" being the non-partisan, good faith operator that he is. 🤣

You're right. I misread it in the 30 seconds i looked at it. So a grand total of 205000 jobs created. Wow! Amazing.
Now tell me the numbers in Trumps 2 terms. Is he up or down? Has any president ever left a term with fewer jobs than when he started? Other than trump that is.
