I recently got a Dell 14R and I'm coming back to Australia on Sunday, but I'm uncertain about the power limitations when charging it in Australia.

I know this is a pretty basic question, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I got my laptop from Toshiba in america, this was 2 or so years ago, much cheaper and no issues with chargers or anything at all

The weird thing is the cable that connected to the brick had a different voltage limit than the brick itself. So I had to buy a seperate cable to plug in before charging it.

Strange, but all is working smoothly now.

All power supplies for current, name brand laptops are auto-switching. Will work with anything from 110-240v so can be used in any country. This means that only the power cord is country specific. Much cheaper manufacturing this way.
