Its **** easy to get through the first tier and wont take that long. It's the only way to do it. I think you have to ring up the codemasters hotline to get the cheats because they are different on every game.

As Unwritten_Law says,its very easy to get through to the next tier or you could just do a free race on an Aussie track.
