Do or die match for the Roy Boys this week at BSO.

Sitting in 8th, our Lions need a win against 3rd placed Rupo to keep finals hopes alive.

Whilst the Reserves sit in 4th and will look for a big win against the Rupo 2s who have only one win for the year.

The Clubbies face the previously undefeated Old Carey after a stirring 80 point win at home. The win moved the Clubbies into 4th, but a win will secure finals action.

After pushing the mighty De La Salle for 3 quarters, the 19s had a terrible fadeout, going down by 10 goals. A win this week against fellow cellar dwellers Uni Blacks will go a long way to keeping the boys in Premier division next year.

After the Ajax and Werribee games it might have been a good time to have the week off and regroup.
Hopefully this Saturday is the start of a good run towards finals.

This saturday will be captain James O'Reilly's 100 senior game for Fitzroy.
J Simcoe and M Cussen are coming into the side, Ross Borland is in the reserves this week. I expect that without Borland, Pickering will be spending more time in front of goal rather than moving further upfield like he did against Werribee.

Should be a great day for the footy club, as we celebrate Jimmy O's 100th.
Champion player and a great leader to all members of the Fitzroy playing group.

Get along and cheer big Jimmy as he lines up at CHF for his big (and the clubs) big day at BSO.


PS. There is potential for some fireworks in the reserves, a very strong reserves unit is in against an undermanned Rupo reserves, with Ross Borland and Dimma keen to impress and a quality midfield delivering it to them, the boys could be in for a big one!! Get there early if you can!

Will Pickering kicked 8 and nearly had another after marking the ball just over the point line and playing on. I would say he was the difference today with strong marking and a few quick snapped goals as well.
