Rest in peace Anchor Man and commiserations to your family. Life is cruelly short and unfair. Watching Freo this year and the last couple of weeks I couldnt help but think of those who poured so much of themselves into the club to never quite get the rewards.

I subscribe to The Good Place's approach to the Afterlife and like to think a little piece of each of those who cant be here is pushing the club and players on. Vale to all our purple brethren

Vale Ken

Absolute legend was Anchorman.....being passionate SF and EF fans we had some great banter over the years. Loved his Freo footy club as much as the SFFC. Loved talking footy.....and just generally talking any topic. Condolences to his family, and the Freo footy club family here on BF. Passed suddenly, but peacefully on Tues night....RIP mate.

I appreciate his input over the years and grew from it. Didn't see eye to eye on everything, but he changed my thinking on some things.

Onya Anchorman 👍

I often wear Cam’s badge to our games and talk to him and my mum in the close ones…

Anchor man -->Ken was a staunch defender of all things Fremantle. I always loved his passion and dedication to the club which he made so apparent in the way he posted on here. I didnt know him personally but I wish I had. Seemed a real genuine bloke.

He was one of us Freo diehards! I hope he sees us win the the whole bloody thing up there. RIP mate.

You will be missed.

Ah that's extremely shocking and saddening, he was active here what felt like not that long ago, just the other day. I didn't know him beyond the forum, was he ill?! Just shows you, you have no idea what's around the corner. Terribly upsetting as I found out yesterday a friend of mine died from her battles with cancer at 64. Before that, I lost a former work colleague in that terrible accident back in March at Beaufort River. She was just 55.

Urgh. RIP anchor man, thank you for you staunch and passionate support of the club, your contribution will be sorely missed. Hope they nail a flag for you my friend, fly free now

Go well our friend and fellow Anchor Man.
May the sounds of SFFC club song sound out loud in your memory along with late Uncle Bryce - another Bulldogs tragic that never missed a Souths game - always at the hospital end behind the point post at the hostel side.
May the sky rain purple and the big red V have you in memory….
Hold your clews and bunts and tether your anchor fast, sail on man of the watch…
Man of the anchor 💜
Rest in Peace

Terrible news 😢 Can imagine Anchor Man up there chewing the fat with Salim.

Condolences to his family and friends.
and trying to avoid a fight with Bushie.

Vale mate
