Clarrie Hoffman was time keeper at Alberton for many years and took over from the legendary Frank Goddard. Clarrie was one of nature's gentlemen and was the brother of Brick Hoffman and Uncle of Vicky. I spent many enjoyable hours after Port games in Clarrie's company.
