One of TV's pioneers and longest serving journalists and presenters, Dan Webb has passed away today aged 92.

A stalwart of HSV-7 from it's inception, and a central figure in the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal right up until just last Easter, Webb had many roles.

Was a senior reporter for Seven National News and various current affairs programs (such as This Week where he interviewed Malcolm Fraser in October 1975)
He also hosted many of Channel 7's test transmissions in 1956.
Youtube has many clips of Webb, including the infamous Spag-Worm April Fools Day Hoax in 1967.
