Yeah I got a vent.

All the sad sacks on the game day thread slagging the team off all the way through the game.

I understand the PTSD of yesteryear, but this is a new team with a new resolve. No more laying down and dying, we just keep finding ways to win.

I get the frustration guys, but we just came off a back to back to back 6 day break with 2 flights thrown in there.

The naysaying and poo-pooing is just ruing the experience for the rest of us.

This is my vent too.

I get to an extent being pessimistic, I get being nervous, but far out, we were down by no more than 20 or so points and you had people saying "game over" and calling JL a fraud, calling us pretenders when the game was far from over and we've shown all year all it takes is 5 minutes to get on top.

To each their own at the end of the day, but I legitimately can't imagine myself being so negative.

Made me remember why I stopped going into match threads during play, reminded me of everything I hated about them.

I'm going to vent about people venting about match day threads. They're sacred spaces where you can instantly react without any rational thought - pure emotional stream of conscious. If you don't understand how that works, <8% of gtfo.

All the sad campaigners in the game day threads and you know who you are. The same posters who only come on to bag out the club can eat a bag. You should be ashamed of yourself. I have zero respect for you and glad the team doesn't care for you either.

When we hold the premiership cup up you better not be celebrating after the constant bitching

I get it, but footy is an emotional game... and the matchday thread and the vent thread are two outlets to get frustrations out. It might annoy you, but too bad honestly. I'll steer clear of the positivity thread obviously, but during the game is an emotional time, and past trauma definitely affects how we see the game - until late in the final quarter, this felt like every other big thurs/fri night game where we folded and buckled under the pressure.

I'm stoked we didn't and the mentality is way better, but 28 years of trauma is hard to just remove from my psyche as a fan.
 
The match day posters are just funny at this point - there were a few posts about how we can't perform on the big stage, don't like prime time footy, scared of the big lights etc.

We've literally won 3 Friday night games and an ANZAC day clash this year.

It's all inane dribble.

There's some real plonkers on there. Notice how wiggy isn't posting anymore. Sad that he only posts when we lose.
 
My vent is that i pay for kayo and they never show the Fremantle coaches press conference (post game)

We have the full hawks and pies pressers but just had to listen to the fox commentators dribbling on and then they just finished up their coverage again without showing Fremantle pressa.

Did channel 7 show jlo’s presser🤷‍♂️

I hope going forward he and our club get more respect and they show these press’s

🤞we get many more prime time games in the 2nd galf of the year

Will be great experience leading up to finals
