Is it just me or is she just as bad as Sharapova, and uses it as a technique.

you watch: when she is leading easily, she does not make a sound

when she is losing/the game is tight, she grunts and grunts and grunts on every shot she plays


both Venus and Serena do it

and so does Sharapova

I'd love to see an opponent of Williams or Sharapova stop mid match walk to the umpire and ask for an instruction to them to cut it out.

it is gamesmanship but unfortunately the opposition both literally and metaphorically don't have the balls to stand up to it.
