Yeah well IMo it isn't as good as TAR or Footy Fanatic and since this is only VFL it has nothing going for it.
No offence meant but this is my opinion. Maybe with moveable players, like in FM, this game would be better. It also has too many glitches

-The highlight mode is decent but I'd like to be able to turn it off for behinds maybe (if possible) and perhaps see more of a build up of play so I can actually see how the ball got to goal.
-It's hard to see where the ball actually is on the ground. Highlighting the player in possession is silly because the winger might have the ball but be in defence. What happens then?
-The fact that you draft and trade as if you were a stand alone club is rather silly.

mine stuffed up. i was bendigo and they were 3 of the teams in the semi finals and both in the grand final then it closed

Same thing happened to me except it didn't close.
Expected more TBH, still fun nonetheless.
i cant even get mine to work on two computers i have
On one computer i get when open the game
error: Unable to get DirectX device. Invalid Call
and it wont even work
On the other computer
the game will open perfectly in the initial screen
i press begin new game
and then the next screen i get is black with a VFL logo at the top
but all writting and graphics(eg.where team logos are meant to be) are black and missing on this page
i can click button and they will advance in screens but all proceeding screens i experience the same problem
any ideas on solutions guys?

I expected more. Have only played one game, but it is no where as good as TAR & FF FX.
Maybe once they fix all the bugs, and update more, it'll come good.

runs smoothly until the game screen when it lags and slows down to the point when it's unplayable.

I highly doubt it. The bloke that does it is working on Cricket Coach 2009 which he will be heavily working on until May -June
