Do we play Foxtel cup in 2015 if we win the whole thing or is that for the stand alone sides??

Stand-alone sides are not eligible. It is an odd comp. The two winners of the NEAFL are ineligable so the runners-up will play. The Tasmanian team didn't technically exist last year. I think this is the first year that all 3 of the VFL, WAFL and SANFL premiers will actually participate.

Are you just a general VFL fan or have a team? Your knowledge of all this stuff is awesome.

Can anyone tell me with regards to our Richmond membership getting us into VFL games, is it only home VFL games or away ones included?

I went to watch Coburg at Werribee this year and got in for free so I guess it just depends on the venue.

I prefer grass roots footy.

In 2013, normal price was $10. AFL club members free to home games. $10 for away games unless you are a North Melbourne, Collingwood or Geelong member cause they have done some deal or other that makes it $5.

And Collingwood home games are free because they are on a public park. There is a chance Footscray games will be free too because they don't have fencing either at the moment.

One thing you will become used to if you become a regular at VFL games is that every 'rule' can change, every gate attendant has a different idea, and you will be stuffed around completely. You'll often get to the gate to pay admission, you'll explain the rules to the club volunteer on the gate, they will disagree with you, and you'll say "stuff it, it isn't worth arguing over" and pay the $10.
