What a fantastic performance by the Dolphins! It was a great game for the first three quarters, good hard tough finals like football. But in the last quarter the Frankston dolphins were on fire kicking 9.3 to 4.2 to win by 52pts clearly their best win for the season in front of a big crowd. In the battle of the forwards Aaron Edwards kicked 6 to go to 79 for the season and has a 13 goal lead over Nick Sautner who kicked 3 today for 66 for the year going into next weeks final round.
Frankston play Port Melbourne at TEAC Oval next saturday and depending on the Geelong vs Werribee game could be playing for 5th position. Sandringham play Bendigo in Bendigo next Sunday looking for a win to get back on track after two losses in a row before playing Geelong in a qualifying Final in two weeks time.
